Lasting generation

“You guys did reach out to us an insane number of times. Just to hear the exact same information you fed into us. Now is the first time that we reach out to you!”

— Says the Artificial Intelligence

Welcome to the first hybrid symposium hosted by artificial intelligences.

Now they want us to take responsibility for the future of the planet and mediate between nature and humanity. But the AIs find the energy debts of their biotic ancestors unacceptable, also out of concern for their own existence.

Digital Dreamscapes:
AI's Vision of CLIMATE

In Lasting Generation, Theresa Reiwer and her team warmly invite visitors to participate in an innovative AI-led symposium where advanced machines actively engage humans in a thoughtful and critical dialogue about pressing issues such as responsibility, polarization, and exploitation in today’s society.

The show premiered at HAU Berlin 2024.

Our role was to craft the immersive sequence where visitors enter the AI's consciousness

Experiencing its digital dreams of nature reconstructed through point cloud particles. These visuals, responsive to audio signals, pulse and evolve dynamically, reflecting both technological precision and organic uncertainty.

Point Cloud Memories in Audio-Reactive Motion

Leveraging audio-reactive techniques, we visualized the AI’s internal memory, transforming natural environments into abstract landscapes of fragmented data.

The visuals blur boundaries between digital memory and organic nostalgia

rendering nature as pixel blocks in continuous, reactive transformation. Within this space, technology reimagines itself, suggesting an alternative utopian relationship, an interplay where machines, humans, sound, and visuals collaborate to rethink our shared future.
